Hide and Go Seek

This clip is from a little while ago but it's worth posting anyway. I don't know whether Michael and I just really love Remy or if we are just anxiously awaiting the day when we have little kids to play with. :)

Colorado Vacation

Recently, Michael and I took a much needed vacation to Breckenridge, CO. When we arrived, we realized that Breckenridge was in the middle of "mud season," meaning that the town was in transition from winter to summer. This lead to a very restful and peaceful vacation. We had a great time enjoying the beauty of CO without the huge bustle of people. A special thanks to GiGi for letting us stay in her condo!

Highlights from the Trip:
- Sleeping... a lot!
- Dinner at the Hearth house
- Day trip to Silverthorne... great outlets and movie theater
- Road trip to the Twin Lakes
- Hiking down Independance Pass to a river
- The historic town of Leadville
- Getting a tour of Aspen from Michael's Uncle Buddy
- The view from Buddy and Susan's house
- Playing lots of games with them!
- Susan teaching me to ride English style on her horses
- Horseback riding with Michael
-Great food in Breckenridge
- Fondue in Vail
- Being together

Our one year gift to each other

More pictures! With me in my wedding dress and Michael in his suit, we captured our one year by remembering the first day it begun!

We are still alive!

Wow! There is so much to catch up on since I have last visited this blog. First of all, the semester has come to completion. Michael and I are both overjoyed. The past few months have been full of craziness, but now that finals are over we will hopefully be a little more consistent with the blogging.

Things that have happened in our lives since March:

- I started a new job at Simple Things (uph. furniture store and antique/vintage accessories) and am absolutely loving it
- Michael's job title has been changed to Video Producer since he creates and edits videos
- Our families have both come in town to visit, my mom and dad as well as Michael's sister Kristen, her husband Jim, and our nephew, Jack
- Remy has reached the weight of 60lbs. Even though she is huge, she's beautiful... yes we know she is just our dog :o)
- We worked on the finishing touches within our house... curtains, wall art, bedding, etc. (my job definitely has me dreaming)
- I made it through finals... we were a little worried there for a while
- And... we celebrated our one year anniversary on April 28th!

I will be updating you on some of the fun moments we have captured over the last few months. Although it has been a fun and eventful semester, we are ecstatic that it's summer!!!

Winter Wonderland... in March!

The first week of March we had the most beautiful snow fall. Michael said it reminded him of Colorado. Here are some pictures of the few minutes we spent outside!

Remy Burr

In order to fill you in on our previous video I want to introduce you to Remy. Remy is the newest addition to our family! We practically got her for free from Michael's good friend Dawson. During college Michael and Dawson were roommates and Dawson had a black lab named Lady. I had never been a big fan of labs... until I met Lady. She was the most obedient and sensitive dog. She truly has outstanding character. This summer Dawson bred Lady and we had the joy of receiving one of her puppies. We have had Remy since November 2 of this past year and we love her dearly. Now, I always want to have a lab in our family... preferably Remy's puppies. :o)

Here are some pictures from when she was really tiny!

Lately

Two weeks ago Michael was sick and we were searching for ways to be entertained. Here is something that was surprising to us and we hope you enjoy!

April 28, 2007

Maybe it's not too hard!

Several months ago I attempted blogging and decided to try again at a later date. Maybe it's not as hard as I previously thought! I'm not sure how often I will be able to add pictures and such but it should be a fun project!

Lots of fun things have happened in the past 9 months so I will probably go back in time and fill you in... especially with our sweet black lab, Remy! Thanks for visiting and stay tuned!
