Recently, Michael and I took a much needed vacation to Breckenridge, CO. When we arrived, we realized that Breckenridge was in the middle of "mud season," meaning that the town was in transition from winter to summer. This lead to a very restful and peaceful vacation. We had a great time enjoying the beauty of CO without the huge bustle of people. A special thanks to GiGi for letting us stay in her condo!
Highlights from the Trip:
- Sleeping... a lot!
- Dinner at the Hearth house
- Day trip to Silverthorne... great outlets and movie theater
- Road trip to the Twin Lakes
- Hiking down Independance Pass to a river
- The historic town of Leadville
- Getting a tour of Aspen from Michael's Uncle Buddy
- The view from Buddy and Susan's house
- Playing lots of games with them!
- Susan teaching me to ride English style on her horses
- Horseback riding with Michael
-Great food in Breckenridge
- Fondue in Vail
- Being together
